The U.S. Department of Transportation will provide more than $4 million in emergency funds to help repair and rebuild the Hart Mine Road Bridge in western Arizona.
The bridge was a key access point for some local farmers.
The Hart Mine Road Bridge, located near the Arizona-California border, partially collapsed into the Colorado River in July from damage in the Island Fire.
The more than $4 million will go to the Bureau of Reclamation to help rebuild the structure.
Local residents, farmers, emergency responders and more have relied on the bridge to connect the community of Cibola to the rest of the state.
