Tuesday, July 23, is the last recommended day for voters in Maricopa County to mail back their early primary ballots to be sure those ballots are delivered to the county recorder in time to be counted.

The primary election will take place next Tuesday, July 30. All ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. that day.

For voters who don’t mail back their ballots by July 23, county officials recommend taking it to a secure drop box.
