Maricopa County voting booths.

The elections outreach team is visiting senior living communities across the county to ensure that older voters have their say at the ballot box.

Efforts include presentations on voter assistance services at polling places, like ballots in large print, braille or in an audio format, which play a key role in providing more accessibility.

Beth Lamont, who’s 95-years-old, attended one of the events.

“Our wisdom; The wisdom of elders is so very, very important — our lifetime experiences," Lamont said.

Voter assistance services can be found at all voting centers in Maricopa County. More information on these services can be found at elections.maricopa.gov.
