A visitor to Grand Canyon National Park fell and died Wednesday morning.
Rangers found the body of a North Carolina man 400 feet below the rim, roughly a quarter mile from Pipe Creek Overlook.
The Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the incident. But officials say the 20-year-old fell accidentally while near the edge.
Park staff urge visitors to stick to designated trails and maintain at least a six-foot distance from the edge.
