Although fans may be focused on this year’s pennant races, Major League Baseball has released the spring training schedule for next season.
The Cactus League will start Feb. 20 with the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers playing in Glendale.
All 30 teams are scheduled to play two days later. The Spring Breakout — a new concept launched this year, featuring games with all-rookie lineups — will return March 13 to 16.
An international start to the regular season will again overlap with spring training, as the Dodgers and Cubs will open in Tokyo on March 18 — nine days before opening day in the U.S.
