The city of Tempe is asking residents to provide feedback on how the city uses federal funds to meet community needs.
The city is hosting two public meetings on Tuesday, one virtual and one in-person. People can also submit their comments through an online survey.
Officials are asking for input on how it should spend money to address issues like affordable housing.
The feedback will be used to create Tempe’s plan for 2025-2029 that’s required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Current city programs include providing housing vouchers to veterans and people with disabilities, as well as one that provides grants to income-qualified homeowners to make urgent household repairs.
