A new Park Service report shows that tourism at Grand Canyon National Park contributed $768 million to the local economy last year.
The Grand Canyon was among the top five national parks with the most visitor spending.
The report shows that overall spending at National parks exceeded $26 billion in 2023. Visits were up by 4% from the previous year.
Half a million jobs nationwide were supported with that spending, including just over 10,000 jobs in communities near the Grand Canyon.
