The Paralympic Games closing ceremony earlier this week capped nearly three months of world-class athleticism.
Six Arizonans came back as Olympic and Paralympic champions, with gold, silver and bronze medals in sports including gymnastics, skateboarding, wheelchair rugby, sitting volleyball and paratriathlon.
Fifteen athletes that call Arizona home had made their way to Paris for the elite competitions.
