The Grand Canyon National Park is seeking public comment on a proposed increase in its backcountry fees.

The $10 application fee would remain; however, overnight fees would go up. The below rim fee would jump from $15 to $24 and the above rim fee would jump from $4 to $6.

Public feedback closes Oct. 12. If approved the new prices would be implemented May 1 next year. Fees were adjusted this last April.
