Tempe police are investigating a shooting that took place inside Arizona Mills Mall on Friday night.
No one was hurt and witnesses say the suspect fled the area. Still, Friday’s shooting in Tempe drew a massive law enforcement presence from several agencies.
According to Tempe police, officers conducted multiple sweeps of the mall and spoke to several witnesses, to ensure everyone was okay and obtain as many witness accounts as possible. The incident began around 7:30 p.m., with reports of shots fired inside the food court of the mall. Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
