Phoenix Sky Harbor ranks third in overall consumer satisfaction among North American mega airports, up 10 spots from just a year ago. That’s according to an annual study from consumer analytics company J.D. Power.
Heather Shelbrack with Sky Harbor attributes the improvement to several aspects, including Waymo’s driverless car partnership.
"We’re proud to have one of the largest airport art programs in the country and we showcase Arizona art and artists throughout our terminals and rental car center and this gives us an opportunity to promote our unique and artistic cultural heritage which helps to elevate that customer experience," Shelbrack said.
And Sky Harbor is busier than ever. Following a record number of passengers in 2023, traffic was up 8.5% through the first six months of this year.
