Free COVID-19 tests are available again to order through the U.S. Postal Service. Every household in the U.S. is eligible to receive four free tests.
Households can request the rapid antigen at-home test kits now through the end of the year online at covidtests.gov or by phone at 1-800-232-0233.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will start shipping the tests next week.
Updated vaccines for the latest strains of the virus are also available now and recommended for everyone 6 months and older.
According to data from the Arizona Department of Health Services, COVID-19 cases have been falling for the past five weeks in the state after a summer wave of infections. But for the past four years, Arizona has tended to see cases increasing in October and into the winter months.
