More than a dozen flights from Phoenix to Tampa and Orlando have already been canceled as Hurricane Milton approaches Florida.
But Sky Harbor Airport’s Heather Shelbrack said all travelers should keep a close eye on flights over the next few days.
"Even if they’re not traveling to Florida, they should of course check their flight status with their airline because delays and cancellations elsewhere in the country could impact connecting flights coming through Phoenix," Shelbrack said.
Sky Harbor’s website has a list of all flights that are canceled, delayed or diverted.
