After a hot October and a cool start to November, temperatures are poised to be right around normal this week, with mostly sunny skies around the Valley.

Gabriel Lojera is a meteorologist with the agency.

“Through the next several days, high temperatures will be in the lower 80s and then we’ll see a cooldown as we head into next weekend as we have another weather system that’s gonna be moving across," said NWS meteorologist Gabriel Lojera.

The Phoenix forecast calls for temps right around the Valley's average of 79 through Friday. A cooldown is coming this weekend, bringing a slight chance of rain in the Valley and possibly more snow in Arizona’s high country.
