Next week is Thanksgiving and travel is forecast to be very busy both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
AAA Arizona spokesperson Julian Paredes says driving, flying and other travel modes are up from a year ago.
“Across the country, about 80 million people are going to be traveling for the holiday. And specifically in Arizona it’s looking [to be] about 1.65 million people, that’s about 2% higher than last year," Paredes said.
Paredes says the Monday after Thanksgiving is also predicted to be the busiest time.
