Phoenix will be a little warmer than usual this Thanksgiving week

Heading into the Thanksgiving holiday, temperatures will reach the mid- to upper-70s.

The forecast also calls for several cloudy days and some calm winds.

“It’ll be several degrees above normal for this time of year, but overall pretty close to normal. So just a mild week it looks like," said meteorologist Isaac Smith with the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

According to the National Weather Service, the normal high temperature for Nov. 28 in Phoenix is 71 degrees and the low is 49 degrees.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind. At night, mostly clear, with a low around 53. Calm wind.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Calm wind. At night, mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Calm wind.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming west southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. At night, mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Calm wind. At night, mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Calm wind.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Calm wind. At night, mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. Calm wind.
