A cold front is moving through northern Arizona, which means people in the high country might see a white Christmas.
"There are some chances to see a little bit of snowfall as the cold front moves through the area," said meteorologist Valerie Meola is with the National Weather Service. "There’s still at least a 30% chance of some snow showers moving through Flagstaff."
Don't expect any snowfall to stick, though, said Meola. Flagstaff has been experiencing higher-than-normal temperatures this winter.
Meola said temperatures should drop back down to their seasonal norms by the end of the week.
Despite the chance for showers Christmas morning, temperatures look to remain a few degrees above normal for the afternoon. Any light snow accumulation seen in the morning around the Flagstaff area will likely melt through the afternoon. #azwx pic.twitter.com/asd4Hgxhwy
