A number of Valley Metro light rail stations in Phoenix will close this weekend for system improvements and testing.
About a dozen stations will be affected. Valley Metro says shuttle buses will help riders get to where they’re going.
Eastbound riders must exit the train at the Roosevelt and Central Avenue station to board buses that will take them to 44th Street and Washington, where they can board the light rail again.
Westbound travelers will exit the train at 44th Street and Washington for buses traveling to Roosevelt and Central Ave.
The work period runs from 4 a.m. Saturday until early Monday. Affected stations will reopen in time for the Monday morning commute.
A complete list of closures can be found on the Valley Metro website.
Valley Metro advises the public to plan ahead using the Valley Metro app for trip planning and notes real-time vehicle tracking may be unavailable during the closure period.
