After an unusually warm December, the Valley is finally getting a seasonally appropriate chill this week.
The National Weather Service in Phoenix says nights especially will be cold.
"Hovering in the middle to upper 40s and then after the system kind of moves out going into late week, our lows are going to get into the, at least on the outskirts of the metro, middle to upper 30s," meteorologist Alex Young said.
There’s also rain chances for Tuesday and Wednesday as a new weather system moves in.
