Three transportation projects in Arizona are set to receive about $44 million in federal funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Tempe will receive $25 million for a bicycle and pedestrian bridge to span across Tempe Town lake west of McClintock. The segment will complete a pedestrian loop around the lake and a quarter-mile path along the north bank connecting to Indian Bend Wash Path and McClintock Drive. It will include lighting, seating and public art.
Flagstaff will receive $19 million for improvements along Butler Avenue. Off-street bike lanes, ADA-compliant sidewalks, road widening and drainage structures are set to be built.
Page will also get funds for improvements to several key intersections.
