Eastbound Interstate 10 will be closed in the Valley this weekend between State Route 51 and U.S. 60 as part of the 1-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.
The closure begins late Friday and lasts until 4 a.m. on Monday morning.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says drivers should plan for extra travel time and to take alternate routes if needed.
Additional roadwork this weekend
- Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) will be narrowed to two lanes in both directions between 51st and 59th avenues from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
- Westbound I-10 ramp to eastbound U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) will be closed from 10 p.m. on Friday to 4 a.m. on Monday.
- Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) will be narrowed to two lanes near Arizona Avenue from 10 p.m. on Friday to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
- Southbound SR 143 (Hohokam Expressway) ramp to westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
