The Arizona Game and Fish Department is offering a $2,000 reward for any information leading to a conviction in the case of five mule deer found dead north of Duncan.
The department says the incident likely occurred in the last week of January.
Officials say evidence collected from the scene points to “multiple violations” of Game and Fish regulations.
Field Supervisor Mike Richins says the case is an example of “blatant disregard and disrespect of the public’s resource.”
Those who wish to provide information can call the department’s Operation Game Thief hotline and can do so anonymously.
