Temperatures are climbing after a cool start to the month. The first triple digit day of the year is anticipated to come on Thursday.
That would be early compared to the average, as Phoenix generally does not hit 100 degrees until early May.
Mark O’Malley is with the National Weather Service in Phoenix.
"It is very likely at Sky Harbor Harbor, 100 degrees will occur again on Friday and possible again on Saturday. And these would also be records for the date," he said.
O’Malley says temperatures are expected to dip a little again early next week.
