The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says three improvised explosive devices were recently discovered in Sahuarita — including two on Friday.
The Pima Regional Bomb Squad safely removed the devices, which were all located at or near the Parque Del Sol Park.
“We want to remind the public to stay alert and report any suspicious items or activity to local law enforcement. We're asking folks, do not touch or approach any suspicious devices," said Kevin Adger with the Sheriff’s Department.
The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is also investigating.
Officials say anyone with information should call 911 or submit a tip anonymously at 88crime.org.
