The Arizona Cardinals have opened training camp in Glendale. An 8-9 finish last year wasn’t good enough for the playoffs, but was a four-win improvement over the previous season.
Jonathan Gannon begins his third year as head coach and says they’re confident they can make another leap in 2025, this time into the postseason.
"If we play our brand of ball, we can win some games, you know what I mean, so. And I don’t think they didn’t feel that last year or the year before, but it’s a heightened sense of awareness. We’re in year three and we’ve got what we need," Gannon said.
Arizona plays its first pre-season next Saturday against the Chiefs and opens the NFL regular season Sept. 7 in New Orleans.
