The Arizona Department of Transportation is not scheduling any construction closures on state highways from Wednesday afternoon to Monday morning for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
ADOT says drivers should expect heavier and slower traffic on busy highways, including the I-17 north of Phoenix.
The flex lanes between Black Canyon City and Sunset Point will also be open.
ADOT recommends drivers allow for extra time and to stay alert on state highways.
