Westbound Grand Avenue partially reopened early Tuesday evening after train derailment in the far West Valley, the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The right westbound lane of U.S. 60 near 113th Avenue in Sun City remains closed. The eastbound lanes remain open.
UPDATE: The left and center lanes of US 60 (Grand Ave) westbound have reopened. The right lane remains closed. There is no estimated time to reopen the right lane.

The road was originally shut about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek an alternate route. There is no estimated time for the roadway’s reopening.
No cause of the derailment was reported.
