A vigil was held Wednesday night outside of the Phoenix field office for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
In two press conferences about an hour apart, Minnesota's governor and the White House disagreed about the facts behind Wednesday's fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis.
"We know this about Nicole. She was a mother. She was a daughter. She was a neighbor. She was a friend to the people of Minneapolis,” said Raquel Teran, a former state lawmaker.
A recent report by the Bulwark cites anonymous sourcing that Phoenix is likely to be ICE’s next enforcement focus.

The Federal Trade Commission says Arizonans lost roughly $337 million to fraud in 2024. A new imposter scam targets the family members of those arrested and put in jail.
