The Phoenix Suns are a win away from making the NBA playoffs.
They finished as the 7th seed in the West and will host the Portland Trailblazers Tuesday night in a game that will determine who will play the Spurs in the first round.
Suns Head coach Jordan Ott says his team is locked in.
“(We)talked a lot about after the all-star break playing meaningful games, now that’s transitioned to a big game Tuesday night, that’s exciting,” he said. “To play 82 games and then have a chance to play a game, that part is exciting and to do it with this group it’ll be special.”
Phoenix wrapped up the regular season with a 45-37 record, marking a 9-win improvement over last season.
If the Suns win Tuesday, they’ll play in San Antonio this weekend. If they lose, they’ll play the winner of the game between the Warriors and Clippers that takes place Wednesday.
