The U.S. Marshals Service has announced the rescue and recovery of 200 missing children nationwide. That includes dozens here in the state.

"We had 33 recoveries and we had 16 locates. In the preparation, we had an additional 72 locates and an additional recovery," said Van Bayless, acting U.S. Marshal for Arizona.

The six-week operation searched for children that had been abducted or were endangered runaways. The youngest child found was 5 months old.

Bayless says cases involving trafficking will be prosecuted at the state and federal levels.
