Travelers going from Arizona to Las Vegas may encounter some delays on Highway 93. The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin work on a free-flowing interchange connecting the US 93 and I-40 in Kingman.

Motorists will be able to transit between I-40 and US 93 thanks to the new mile of highway The project will take two years. Other features of the project include widening more than one mile of I-40 in both directions between the new interchange and Stockton Hill Road and building sound walls along one portion of I-40.

This project is one of several intended to improve US 93 between Wickenburg and Nevada.

According to ADOT, 19 projects to modernize US 93 between Wickenburg and I-40 have been completed since 1999.
