The harassment and death threats toward professors across the country are the subject of an upcoming documentary. The film says many of those attacks are a result of the conservative political organization, Turning Point USA.

The documentary, titled “Surviving Turning Point USA,” will feature professors who’ve faced scrutiny as a result of being placed on the organization’s “Professor Watchlist.” Kevin Parkinson is a professor at Grand Canyon University and producer of the documentary.

"Somebody needs to step in to expose the organization for their insidious practices on intimidation. This borderlines on terrorism," Parkinson said.

He says 15 of the 700 professors he contacted agreed to an interview. Parkinson says he attempted multiple times to contact Turning Point. He says the organization never responded to his inquiries.

The documentary is set to release on YouTube on July 20.
