Congressman Raúl Grijalva took to social media Wednesday to share he has finished his cancer treatments for now.
Grijalva says he is working to get physically stronger, and his ability to travel to Washington, D.C., is up to his doctors.
During his treatment, Grijalva says he worked to gain federal funds for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, including a $23.5 million grant for Douglas and $12.5 million in House appropriations for the Nogales IOI pipeline.
The Southern Arizona congressman announced his diagnosis earlier this year.
