Part-time digital producer for KJZZ's The Show
KJZZ’s The Show is looking for a part-time digital producer to assist with the production and promotion of the daily public radio news magazine. We're looking for a creative self-starter who is comfortable pitching ideas and managing projects in a fast-paced environment. We love good ideas — and we want to hear yours!
The digital producer's role includes working with a small team to edit broadcast scripts, write headlines and produce multimedia elements for stories — including photo, video, data visualizations; create content, including writing copy and designing visuals (photos, infographics, videos); plan and execute social media posts; and other duties as assigned.
The producer works with KJZZ’s digital team, Show broadcast producers and hosts to create engaging digital experiences for our online readers and social audience.
The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about a variety of social platforms, including but not limited to Instagram and YouTube. Interest in shooting and producing vertical video a plus. Proficiency in Adobe preferred. Knowledge of and/or keen interest in AP style is a must.
The Tempe-based position is weekday mornings, 15-19.5 hours a week.
