Part-time digital producer for KJZZ's The Show

KJZZ’s The Show is looking for a part-time digital producer to assist with the production of our daily public radio news magazine.

The digital producer's role includes working with a team to edit broadcast scripts, write headlines and produce multimedia elements for stories — including photo, video, data visualizations and more. The producer works with KJZZ’s digital team, Show broadcast producers and hosts to create engaging digital experiences for our online readers and social audience.

The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about a variety of platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. We’re looking for new and innovative ways to deliver our loyal audience the high quality news and information they need. Experience managing professional brand accounts is a plus.

We're looking for a creative self-starter who is comfortable pitching ideas and managing projects in a fast-paced environment. We love good ideas — and we want to hear yours!

Proficiency in Adobe Audition and Photoshop preferred. Knowledge of and/or keen interest in AP style is a must.

The Tempe-based position is weekday mornings, 15 to 19.5 hours a week.
