Adrienne St. Clair

Production Intern

Adrienne St. Clair is a graduate student at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She started as a production intern at KJZZ in January 2017.

St. Clair's curiosity about the differences in the human experience motivated her to study psychology at Brigham Young University in Utah. She realized her real passion for storytelling while working as a Workforce Analyst after graduating, where she began listening to long-form narrative podcasts at her desk. For the next year, when she wasn't working her day job, she tore through the archives of This American Life and worked on projects like telling stories at the local venue and starting a personal podcast.

After quitting her job and moving to Arizona, St. Clair decided to pursue her dream of working as a journalist, specifically as a multimedia investigative journalist.

She has interned as a photographer at Phoenix Magazine and is currently working on a special project  on the Westward Ho for ASU and Arizona PBS.

When she isn't finding new stories to tell, St. Clair is either binge-watching crime shows or Seinfeld, listening to podcasts or planning trips based on the places she's read about in her favorite novels.
