A bus emblazoned with “Let’s Be Better Humans” rolls through the neighborhoods of Phoenix and other cities to deliver food and clothes to communities in need.

Songwriting is a complex process. But writing a song during a pandemic with no recording experience nor equipment is even harder. Music students at the Grand Canyon School, a K-12 school located in the south rim of the Grand Canyon, were able to create an original song with virtual help from Grand Canyon School of Rock musicians.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed a measure on Thursday to honor the late Fred Korematsu. The move to honor Korematsu comes as local advocacy groups are pressuring Ducey over a nationwide rise in hate crimes against Asian-Americans.

The University of Arizona COVID-19 Early Warning Sewage Testing Project detected increased levels of the coronavirus in wastewater testing sites around Yuma County at the end of March. Researchers say the elevated levels mean the public shouldn't be worried, but health officials should stay alert.

Animals in the Maricopa County Sheriff Office's Animal Safe Haven Unit (MASH) will be kept in a new, improved facility after years of living in poor conditions. This new facility will cost approximately $8.5 million which will be raised by private donations, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

An outdoor state-run COVID-19 mass vaccination site in Chandler will be replaced April 5 by a drive-thru operation inside a large business warehouse in Mesa in advance of approaching hot weather, the Department of Health Services announced Friday.
