Emily Mai

Emily Mai is an assistant digital editor at KJZZ. They graduated with a master's degree in mass communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in spring 2024.

With a background in journalism as well as the performing and visual arts, Mai is passionate about bridging the gap between the two and finding creative ways to tell important stories.

Outside of the newsroom, Mai loves to spend their time drawing or working on new arts and crafts projects. They also love being active and can be found skateboarding and rock climbing when they have a chance.
