Before KJZZ, she reported for multiple local newspapers in Arizona and California, including the Foothills Focus, Queen Creek Tribune and the Pasadena Weekly. She also produced Arizona Horizon on Arizona PBS and created short-form content for its social media.
Outside of journalism, Lilly enjoys watching films and taking boxing classes.

The Bureau of Land Management reports it rescued a wild burro trapped in a septic tank in northwestern Arizona. With help from the community, the burro was lifted out of the tank and then released.
