A new railroad overpass in Maricopa will open Monday morning. It will help traffic flow along Route 347 and provide a safer alternative to the current crossing. The city of Maricopa has been working on this project for 15 years.

An Arizona Public Services’ underground fire in Phoenix on Sunday night continues to affect the downtown area. APS crews are working to restore electricity to four buildings that were still without power as of Tuesday afternoon.

Medicaid patients will have access to the Lyft rideshare program for medical transportation. Arizona is the first state to offer rideshare as an option for non-emergency medical transportation.
