Williams mayor joins chorus of Arizona cities, towns calling for local short-term rental control

Short-term rentals have helped create a lack of affordable housing in northern Arizona.

It is one reason why local leaders are calling on state lawmakers to allow cities and towns to limit the number of such units.

Williams Mayor Don Dent says the city has lost about 15% of its 1,500 housing units to short-term rentals in the last five years.
