Protests under the 50501 Movement banner will be held statewide, with a rally happening at the Arizona Capitol starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The 50501 Movement stands for "50 protests. 50 states. 1 movement."
In a press release, the movement says President Donald Trump has defied court orders and targeted political opponents while his administration has deported migrants without due process.
The Phoenix event is set to host multiple speakers and will be followed by a march.
A protest is set to start at 8:45 a.m. in Tucson.
Other demonstrations are listed at fiftyfifty.one/events. The site shows more than 700 events taking place around the United States on Saturday.
The protestors participated in the 50501 Movement, which originated in response to the Trump administration and its efforts to cut government spending. Many chanted "Where is Congress?'"
