Thousands of protesters gathered in downtown Phoenix for the “No Kings” protest on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Arizonans who gathered in Tempe and across the state Saturday to protest President Donald Trump said they have plenty of reasons to be concerned about his administration.

More than 2,700 No Kings protests are planned across the country Saturday, including dozens throughout Arizona.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators turned out for other No Kings protests in Arizona in June. A press release from organizers said Americans will "unite for peaceful demonstrations to stand together in the belief that America belongs to its people, not to kings."

Demonstrators say they’re against "President [Donald] Trump’s authoritarian actions and power grabs."

More than 40 No Kings events are planned across Arizona this weekend in cities like Phoenix and Tucson and stretching as far north as Tuba City.

National organizers say they’re expecting millions of people to demonstrate across all 50 states.
