War Secretary Pete Hegseth set a Wednesday deadline for an investigation into whether Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, a Democrat, violated military law when he urged service members not to follow illegal orders from their superiors.
Kelly, a retired Navy Captain, told MS Now that he hasn’t heard anything about the investigation from the military.
"I still have not been notified by the United States Navy, nothing. I saw a tweet from Pete Hegseth maybe about a week and a half ago. That’s it, crickets, nothing," Kelly said.
Kelly maintains that the Trump administration is trying to silence him as Kelly has criticized Hegseth’s leadership.
