Released in 2023, Taser 10 has a 45-foot range and a 10-probe capacity.

After the city of Scottsdale effectively bypassed a possible challenge at the ballot box, a group opposed to building a 1,200-unit housing project near Loop 101 and Hayden Road is threatening to sue the city.

Taxpayers Against Awful Apartment Zoning Exemptions sent a demand letter to the city of Scottsdale, challenging a Memorandum of Understanding between Taser-maker Axon and the city that allows for the housing development. TAAAZE’s legal team believes the MOU is illegal and invalid.

The demand letter, which was sent on Dec. 8, states this “is just the latest in Axon’s ongoing effort to railroad this unwanted project over public opposition through anti-democratic, backdoor dealing.”

In November, the Scottsdale City Council approved a compromise with Axon allowing the company to build its new headquarters there.
