In a new campaign mailer, Congressman David Schweikert is accusing fellow Rep. Andy Biggs of associating with white supremacists and engaging in antisemitism. He said in a recent interview that Biggs has a documented history of hanging out with some “pretty ugly people.”

"These are podcasts full of white nationalism, antisemitism, when you have voted repeatedly against even recognizing the Holocaust, you know, there is something very dark there," he says.

A spokesperson for Biggs called the mailer a “desperate tactic.”

Schweikert says it points out what’s already been published by local and national media outlets.

The two lawmakers are competing for the GOP nomination to challenge Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs later this year.
