Arizonans from both sides of the political aisle expressed condolences to honor the late South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham. Graham died earlier this weekend.
Republican U.S. Reps. Andy Biggs and Abe Hamadeh shared their condolences to Graham on social media. Democratic Sens. Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego also recognized Graham and his public service.
In a social media statement, Arizona Republican Party Chairman Sergio Arellano said Graham worked to defend freedom and stood with allies.
Graham also held a close friendship with former Arizona Sen. John McCain. McCain’s daughter, Meghan McCain, shared online that Graham’s “sudden passing is shocking and deeply saddening” for her and her family.
