Local firefighters in southern Arizona recently spotted a man trying to climb the 30-foot border wall had fallen on the Mexico side. He was injured but, Mexican authorities had not responded to help him. After 24 hours of arguing over which authorities would help him, Arivaca Fire Department cut the wall to help him. A federal judge is hearing arguments over whether the $25 billion merger between Kroger and Albertsons should be allowed to continue. Some attorney generals, including Arizona’s Kris Mayes, argue the merger “presents a significant risk of reduced competition and higher food prices nationwide.” Pete Sepp is president of the National Taxpayers Union, joined The Show to argue that the grocery merger should be allowed to go through.
