Starting this weekend, the NPR show Wild Card with Rachel Martin joins weekly program It’s Been a Minute with Brittany Luse to become a new hour on KJZZ.

Watch a KJZZ panel discussion about Oak Flat — an area sacred to generations of Apaches that may soon be home to one of the largest copper mines in the world.

KJZZ has won four regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for large market radio news coverage in 2023. The announcement was made Wednesday by the Radio Television Digital News Association.

KJZZ's Fronteras Desk accepted five national awards from the Public Media Journalists Association at a ceremony in San Antonio on Friday night. Reporters won second place in Division AA — the largest division that includes stations with 16 or more full-time news staff — in the Arts Feature, Continuing Coverage, Feature, Sports Feature and Use of Sound categories.
