WNBA players want higher salaries, better benefits. What that means for the future of the league

The WNBA players union this week opted out of their collective bargaining agreement with the league. That came a day after the deciding game of the WNBA finals and at the end of a year that saw increases in both attendance and TV ratings.

The players say they want higher salaries and other benefits.

Cassandra Negley, a women’s basketball reporter for Yahoo Sports, joined The Show to talk about it.
