A new photo exhibition at a Phoenix gallery spans largely from shortly after the 2008 election through last year’s Election Day.
It’s called "American Hypnosis," and the photographer behind it calls it a series of "surreal postcards ... a feeling of familiar uneasiness transmitted from a citizen who is equally intrigued by his home as he is alarmed."
Jesse Rieser’s exhibit will be on display at Bentley Gallery through the end of August. In fact, this will be the last show at that space, which will be closing after around four decades.
Rieser spoke with The Show. American Hypnosis will be on display at Bentley Gallery in Phoenix through Aug. 30.
